Air temperature, barometric pressure, dry/wet/icy runway, airport elevation? B737 has an aural warning if the flaps are not set for take-off (i.e. UP,30,40). IMHO most likely the speed of rotation was incorrect. Either: -Incorrect TO weight used for calculations -Incorrect flap setting was used (e.g. 1 instead of 5 or 15) -Crew started rotation before reaching Vr for some reason Would not call this a stall though. But I'm a 737 buoy for the most part, and am used to it's numbers.. IE: most full load 737 takeoffs are done with flaps 5, and the FMC will give you the exact trim setting to use. A light 737 takeoff is commonly flown with flaps 1. Say I'm selecting flaps 5 for takeoff. That looks like Flaps 1, and that is not only normal and safe, it is very common on relatively long runways (7500' and longer). For slightly shorter runways, a Flaps 5 takeoff is often used, and for the shortest runways (less than 5500', roughly), even Flaps 15 or on some aircraft, Flaps 25. V2 is the minimum takeoff safety speed and provides at least 30° bank capability with takeoff flaps set. On the speed tape of the PFD, a white-coloured airspeed bug is propagated at V2 +15/20. V2+15 knots provides 40° bank capability with takeoff flaps set.

Just curious as to the flap setting required for takeoff and the effect of having 0 flap set for takeoff on a 737. I was on a flight 2 weeks ago and once lined up and ready to go, power was applied, then as soon as we started rolling, power back to idle and brakes applied... then i noticed the flaps being lowered...   • Hi, Just tested the "old" NGX 737-800 in P3D v4.5 where I did a full (150 pax and 16 Ton with Fuel, close to MTW) and did a takeoff without any flaps (flaps=0), pitched up rougly around 130 Kt to 12.5 degrees and plane did a take-off without any issue at all.

But on the other hand your climb performance is less with a higher flapsetting! So you need to take a compromise. If you would take off without flaps in the 737 you need about 200 knots to lift off to be at a safe speed ...
